Kevin Hammonds

Kevin R. Hammonds serves as Chief Financial Officer here at Physician Partners of America. With over 20 years of experience, he has hands-on CFO-level experience in the healthcare industry and is highly skilled in financial modeling and analytics, contract negotiation, system implementation, and revenue cycle. As a critical thinker, he’s able to identify opportunities and execute strategic action plans for performance improvement market expansion.

Kevin’s methodology is to fulfill his responsibilities with a team-orientated approach to promote stellar performance. He solidifies his interests by stating: “Family has always been the most important part of my life and I use that as a key aspect of my leadership philosophy. Hence, I love being a financial leader because it gives me an opportunity to share my knowledge, be a positive voice, and mentor others to become the best version of themselves. Accordingly, I look forward to helping PPOA expand and have a positive impact on all the communities they serve.”

Aside from his position here at PPOA, other previous professional leadership roles Kevin held include senior vice president of finance, senior vice president of physician enterprise, vice president of finance, and senior financial analyst. Raised in New Carlisle, Ohio, he earned his bachelor’s degree in Accounting and Tax concentration from Wright State University, College of Business in Dayton, Ohio.

Outside of work, Kevin and his lovely wife have two daughters and they enjoy watching sports and traveling together. He and his wife also have a love for cooking and bowling. He coaches fast pitch softball and is the treasurer for his local softball association. He has served as chair for the Making Strides Against Breast Cancer and looks forward to representing PPOA in socially responsible initiatives.
