Biography

Pain Management Specialist

Dr. Robert Aranibar, M.D., is a board-certified Anesthesiologist with fellowship training in pain management. He brings over two decades of experience dedicated to helping patients find lasting relief from acute and chronic pain.

Born in Providence, Rhode Island, Dr. Aranibar earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from the University of Miami in Coral Gables, Florida. He went on to receive his Doctor of Medicine from the American University of the Caribbean in Plymouth, Montserrat, British West Indies, in 1992.

He completed his internship in internal medicine at Danbury Hospital, a Yale University affiliate, followed by a residency in anesthesiology at the University of Massachusetts Medical Center in Worcester. During his time there, he was honored as Chief Resident and named a Distinguished Resident. He continued on to complete a fellowship and serve as an Instructor of Anesthesia at the same institution.

Dr. Aranibar holds an active medical license in the state of Florida and is a Diplomate of the American Society of Anesthesiology. He is certified in BCLS and ACLS and holds ECFMG certification. He is a proud member of the American Medical Association, the American Society of Anesthesiology, and the American Society of Regional Anesthesia.

Since 1998, Dr. Aranibar has served the Central Florida community through his work at Pain Management of Brevard in Merritt Island and as an active staff physician at Wuesthoff Hospital in Rockledge. He also served as Medical Director at Courtenay Same Day Surgical Center for over a decade.

Dr. Aranibar pursued pain management as a natural extension of his anesthesiology expertise. He is passionate about improving his patients’ quality of life through advanced procedures such as radiofrequency ablation and targeted spinal injections.

When he’s not in the clinic, Dr. Aranibar enjoys bicycling, exploring Florida’s vibrant food scene, spending time with animals, and making the most of the Sunshine State lifestyle.
