Biography
Interventional Pain Management Specialist
Dr. Joseph Bloom is a highly experienced interventional pain management physician with a passion for improving quality of life through multidisciplinary care. He brings decades of expertise in advanced pain treatment modalities to Physician Partners of America.
A native of Miami, Florida, Dr. Bloom earned his undergraduate degree in Chemistry, magna cum laude, from the University of Miami. He went on to receive his medical degree from the University of Miami School of Medicine.
He completed his internship in Internal Medicine at Mount Sinai Hospital in Miami Beach and his residency in Anesthesiology at Jackson Memorial Hospital. To further refine his skills in pain relief, he pursued a Pain Management Fellowship at the prestigious Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia.
Before joining PPOA, Dr. Bloom served as Medical Director of the Department of Pain Management at Wuesthoff Hospital in Rockledge, Florida. Over the years, he has developed particular expertise in interventional procedures, including radiofrequency ablation, spinal injections, and peripheral nerve blocks.
Dr. Bloom was drawn to the field of medicine out of a lifelong desire to help others. His interest in pain management stems from the ability to provide meaningful, often life-changing relief for patients suffering from chronic conditions.

He has lived in Brevard County for more than 30 years with his wife and children. Outside of work, Dr. Bloom enjoys boating, fishing, photography, riding Harley-Davidsons, and cycling.
