He takes a holistic, evidence-based care approach when tending to his patients. “I make sure the patients take an active role in their treatment,” he says. “I speak in layman’s terms and ask them to repeat the treatment plan back to me to ensure understanding.”

His patients, who know him as “Dr. Prasad,” appreciate his approach and frequently write glowing reviews of him and his staff.

Dr. Prasad earned his medical degree from Bangalore University in India. He completed a clinical rotation in the field of Comprehensive Pain Management at the Wayne State University in Detroit.

After receiving an in-depth education in different pain management modalities, he chose to give back to the country that had afforded him so many opportunities. He joined the U.S. Army Medical Corps, where he served eight years in active duty and remains a reservist.

Dr. Prasad Lakshminarasimhiah served in the United States Army as a major at the San Antonio Military Medical Center. While there, he cared for injured soldiers and has since provided his services at rehabilitation centers throughout the country.

His experience and education allow him to provide each patient with tailored, thorough care and a highly effective course of treatment without relying on opioid medication. He is laser-trained, yet uses a variety of noninvasive and interventional pain management modalities, depending on the patient.

He also offers regenerative medicine as a nonsurgical treatment option for appropriate patients,  to help the body heal from injury naturally.
