Dr. Edrick Lopez is a Harvard-trained interventional pain management specialist in our McKinney, Texas clinic. He offers his patients a multidisciplinary approach to pain relief, especially back, neck and joint injections. He also is trained in laser spine procedures, provides Botox injections for migraine headaches and practices regenerative medicine.

Dr. Lopez is double board-certified in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and Pain Medicine by the American Board of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. He earned his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Michigan, followed by a dual degree in medicine and law from the University of Puerto Rico School of Medicine and School of Law.

While he earned a law degree, he chose to enter the field of medicine. He did his residency at Harvard Medical School in physical medicine and rehabilitation. He then advanced to a fellowship at the University of Texas Health Sciences Center in pain management through the Anesthesiology department.

Dr. Aaron Miranda Treats Spine Pain, Migraines in Carrollton

Dr. Aaron Miranda, pain management physician in PPOA Carrollton, is the son of a doctor and always knew he wanted to take the same path in life. “I saw how it changed people’s lives and that was an inspiration,” he says.

His focus on interventional – rather than medication-based – pain management gives his patients both hope and measurable results. He earned a 2018 Patients’ Choice Award from the reputation site Vitals.

He completed his residency at the Nassau University Medical Center in New York, and elected chief resident of the pain management and rehabilitation department.

He then served as co-chief fellow during an ACGME-accredited interventional pain fellowship at Albert Einstein College of Medicine/Montefiore Medical Center in New York City.

An El Paso native who grew up in Tulsa, Okla., Dr. Aaron Miranda is a member of the American Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation.  He speaks English and Spanish.
