Drs. Le and Prada to perform laser spine in South Florida

As part of its rapid expansion into new territory and new pain treatments, Physician Partners of America is adding new specialists and clinics performing laser spine in South Florida.

The procedure offers a long-lasting or permanent reduction in spine pain. It is minimally invasive and muscle-sparing, making for a short recovery. It also gets to the source of back pain, making it a much safer alternative to opioid pain medication.

Dr. Man Le Comes to New Boca Raton Clinic

Man Q. Le, M.D., has begun performing laser-assisted spine procedures and interventional pain management treatments at a new PPPOA location, 9970 Central Park Blvd., N, Suite 401, Boca Raton, FL 33428.

Dr. Le is board-certified by the American Board of Anesthesiology in both Anesthesia and Pain Medicine. He uses the latest interventional modalities to diagnose and treat all pain conditions with a focus on spinal pain.

He earned his medical degree from the Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas, and completed his residency in Anesthesia at Georgetown University Hospital in Washington, D.C. He practiced anesthesia for several years before discovering the then-emerging specialty of pain management. That led him to pursue fellowship training in Pain Medicine at Georgetown.

He comes to PPOA from South Florida Pain Relief Centers, where he served as medical director for the past three years.

Dr. Stefan Prada offering minimally invasive spine procedures

Stefan Prada, M.D., a veteran orthopedic spine surgeon, is performing minimally invasive spine surgeries (MISS) and laser-assisted spine procedures at PPOA’s Boynton Beach Ambulatory Surgery Center, 10301 Hagen Ranch Rd #520, Boynton Beach, FL 33437.

Dr. Prada does a wide variety of outpatient, minimally invasive procedures including endoscopic spinal decompression, TLIF, ACDF and fusions, as well as regenerative medicine.

He comes to the PPOA organization after eleven years at the now-defunct Laser Spine Institute, where he helped more than 9,000 patients find pain relief using minimally invasive and laser spine techniques.

Dr. Prada completed his Bachelor of Science in Biology at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in Troy, N.Y., and his medical degree from Albany Medical College. He served in the United States Navy, alternating military service with his medical education. He completed his internship in General Surgery at Emory University School of Medicine in Atlanta. After that, he served two years as a Navy physician with the Marines.

He deployed with the 6th Marine Regiment to the Mediterranean for 6 months, then went on to his residency in Orthopedics at the University of Arkansas. Later, he completed his Navy career at Naval Hospital Jacksonville.

Dr. Prada is a fellow of the America Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons, American Board of Orthopedic Surgery, North American Spine Society and the Society for Minimally Invasive Spine Surgery.

The doctors join pain management specialist Alejandro G. Tapia, M.D., in serving South Florida. Dr. Tapia performs minimally invasive and laser spine procedures at two PPOA locations: 1397 Medical Park Blvd., Wellington, FL 33414, and 10301 Hagen Ranch Rd., Suite D-120, Boynton Beach, FL 33437.

PPOA Future Expansion

In addition to its push into laser spine in South Florida, PPOA and its allied companies are also expanding into St. Petersburg, Lakewood Ranch and Sun City Center, FL, in addition to Fullerton, CA. It recently opened a state-of-the-art outpatient surgery center in Melbourne, FL.
