Biography
Josh Helms is an accomplished Chief Executive Officer (CEO) with a proven track record in scaling rapidly growing organizations. With a strategic approach, he aligns the company’s mission with impactful, long-term growth objectives focused on enhancing patient care and expanding access to advanced pain management solutions. Josh oversees cross-functional operations, fostering collaboration across departments to improve clinical effectiveness, elevate patient experience, and drive operational excellence. His responsibilities include shaping PPOA’s corporate strategy, reinforcing a strong brand identity, and ensuring financial resilience, all while nurturing a positive, patient-centric culture that reflects the organization’s commitment to improving quality of life.
Josh has held numerous leadership roles at PPOA, advancing from Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing to Chief Operating Officer before ultimately becoming CEO. He joined PPOA with a strong background in executive leadership, previously serving in progressive roles at Laser Spine Institute and culminating as Senior Vice President of CARE Operations. He earned his bachelor’s degree in Social Work from the University of South Florida and his MBA from the University of Tampa – John H. Sykes College of Business.
In addition to his professional contributions, Josh serves on the board of Metropolitan Ministries, where he applies his leadership skills to support the organization’s mission and strengthen community ties.
