Jennifer Bowser, DC

Spine Consult Physician

Dr. Jennifer Bowser combines expert spine knowledge with sincere compassion for those who suffer from chronic neck and back pain.

As a consulting doctor with the former Laser Spine Institute and now with Physician Partners of America, she works closely with minimally invasive spine surgeons to diagnose and treat patients.

My passion is patient education,” she says. “I love explaining conditions and options available to patients in a way they can understand so that they are able to make the best decision for the own healthcare. I feel that with my background in chiropractic I am in a unique position to bridge the gap between conservative care and surgical options.”

Her interest in medicine goes back to childhood, when she saw how chiropractic helped heal a loved one from an injury.

“I have always been a problem solver,” says Dr. Bowser, who grew up in a family of United States Marines at Camp Lejeune in North Carolina. “I have great sympathy for the suffering that people in chronic pain go through. I always wanted to go into a career where I can have a positive influence on people’s quality of life. Medicine to me was the best way to achieve that.”

After graduating from North Carolina State University with a B.S. in Biological Sciences and Genetics, she earned her Doctor of Chiropractic from Palmer College of Chiropractic in 2010. Dr. Bowser worked in various clinics in Tampa Bay, spending four years at Laser Spine Institute before joining PPOA in 2019.

When she’s not helping patients at the clinic level or conducting spine seminars, Dr. Bowser is involved in projects that allow her to give back to the community. She enjoys spending time with family, working out, enjoying the outdoors and traveling.
