Dr. Hunt is certified by the American Osteopathic Board of Orthopedic Surgery and a member of the American Osteopathic Academy of Orthopedics, American Osteopathic Association and American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons.
His specialty complements the interventional pain management and laser spine surgery offered at PPOA’s Habana Avenue, Tampa, location. “Whether it’s a competitive athlete or a weekend warrior, injury can change someone’s life,” he says. “I enjoy restoring people’s function and getting them back to doing what they love to do.”
A native of Kentucky, Dr. Hunt played baseball at Pikeville College. After receiving his Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology, he went on to earn his medical degree from the college’s School of Osteopathic Medicine.
Dr. Hunt is the founder of OrthoLinks Orthopaedics and Rehabilitation in Tampa. He has contributed to many scholarly publications and presented on a variety of topics related to orthopedic surgery. Dr. Hunt has also served as clinical professor for Kentucky College Osteopathic Medicine and Marietta College.
Dr. Hunt is married to a family practice physician and the couple has two young children.
