Our pharmacists can talk with you on the phone or in the pharmacies and it is our mission to answer all questions with a compassionate and empathetic response.
Physician Partners of America keeps detailed records of your prescription history and communicates directly with your doctor should any questions about your prescription arise
Our pharmacies provide you with superior care along with medicine and services in the most efficient way possible. You will be greeted by one of our experienced pharmacists and given the proper care to get you feeling better.
Most accept insurance, which means that all you have to pay is your co-pay. Because we make every effort to keeping our prescription costs low, our pharmacies are currently not offering any type of deal on medications.
It’s easy to forget to take your medication on a schedule, especially when you are very busy or traveling. We create custom medicine packs in plastic blisters that list the day and time the medication should be taken. These can be automatically renewed at any time. It’s also handy for elders and teens who may forget to take their medications on schedule. Forgetting? Forgotten!
There are many features that are available within our pharmacies like prescription filling and refilling, medication therapy management, in-store immunizations, testing and consulting.
Our pharmacists have years of experience and education that fully equip them to discuss over-the-counter options for patients already taking medications. Our pharmacists are not simply pill dispensers, but are highly qualified professionals who interact with our customers on a personal level more so than a transaction based level.
Physician Partners of America wants to make sure that the patient is always the priority. If our company’s name is on the door you’re walking through, you can be sure that you are our primary focus, and that includes offering you personalized pharmaceutical care. From medications designed specifically for your system to pharmacists who connect with you on a personal level, you are our priority.
Compounding Pharmacy Service
When your doctor prescribes compound medicines, that means individual ingredients are mixed together in the exact amounts that are ideal for your body. Through pinpointing the exact dosage that works best in your system, you avoid any unwanted side-effects and get maximum relief. Compound medicines are essentially customized medicines.
Compounding pharmacies also offer medication therapy management and even saliva hormone testing. We also compound prescriptions for pets.
Having a compounding pharmacy is a critical piece of your customized care plan because this type of pharmacy can create personalized medication just for you. That means more relief and less side effects since the dosage is created specifically for your body.
Questions about traditional prescriptions, compounding medicine, pain relief management or anything else concerning your health? We're here to help. Our health experts are available for consultations to discuss and evaluate your medical history, your current symptoms, the medications and nutritional supplements that you are currently taking, all lab test results and your lifestyle.
What is Drug Compounding?
Compounding is the process of combining, mixing or altering the ingredients of a drug to create a medication tailored to the needs of an individual patient. This process typically involves two or more medications.
Sometimes, the health needs of a patient cannot be treated by typical over-the-counter (OTC) drugs. Additionally, compounded medications are recommended for those who:
- Have an allergy to a certain dye or chemical in some OTC medications
- Are an elderly patient or a child who aren’t able to swallow a pill, or otherwise need a medicine in a liquid, gummy or more easily-delivered form
The practice of compounded medication allows for custom-tailored medicine, designed with the individual in mind instead of a “one size fits all” mentality that most are used to.
A prescription is a doctor-ordered medication accompanied by written instructions with the expressed idea of restoring a patient back to health. Prescriptions may include specific directions to be followed in order to get the maximum benefit from the prescribed medication.
As the field of medicine has become more and more complex, the meaning of the term “prescription” has come to include clinical assessments, laboratory tests and other studies in order to best monitor the ongoing success of the prescribed drugs, in addition to the patient’s health and well-being.
This practice seeks to optimize drug therapy and improve therapeutic outcomes for patients. MTM typically includes:
- Performing patient assessment and/or a comprehensive medication review
- Formulating a medication treatment plan
- Monitoring efficacy and safety of medication therapy
- Enhancing medication adherence through patient empowerment and education
- Documenting and communicating MTM services to prescribers in order to maintain comprehensive patient care
Hormones are powerful molecules essential for maintaining physical and mental health. An imbalance of any one hormone can throw your physical and mental health out of balance, causing health problems.
There are several ways to test for hormones (saliva, serum and urine), but the best method is through saliva. This is because only the active portions of hormones are measured and it is these portions that determine how individuals feel. If you are seeking bioidentical hormone replacement (BHRT), you will need to know your active hormone level count.
Saliva Hormone Testing is right for those who are concerned with changing hormone levels as they age. Women experiencing PMS symptoms, peri/post-menopausal women concerned with their estradiol and progesterone levels for replacement considerations or those who want to monitor their hormone levels following replacement therapy are encouraged to get tested.
